American Red Cross: Helping Local Residents

The American Red Cross is a non-profit organization that helps people in disasters around the globe.  Within the United States, local chapters rely on local donations and volunteers to help in disasters within their areas.

The local chapter helped bring money, toys, clothing, food, and medicine to the residents that were affected by a fire in the Silicon Valley.  The helpfulness and self sacrifices that volunteers give, make an everlasting impact on the victims they help everyday.

Donations and volunteers are always needed, and is how local Red Cross chapters stay willing to help in tragedies locally, nationally and globally.
